Kazbegi

Khevi is situated in the northern part of Georgia on the slopes of the Caucasus Mountains, in the gorge of the river “Tergi”. It is distinguished for its high mountainous relief and the most beautiful nature. Here runs the main route through the Caucasus from Georgia to Russia - Georgian Military Road.

Day 1: Arrival at Tbilisi. Meeting at Tbilisi International Airport. Transfer to hotel.

Day 2: Drive from Tbilisi to village Juta and walk approximately 2 hours to the peaks (foot) of Chiukhi Massif at an altitude of 2500 m.  

Day 3: Drive to Kazbegi. Ascend to Gergeti Glacier (2900 m above sea level) via Gergeti Sameba. Overnight in tents.

Day 4: Descend to Kazbegi, visit to Darial Gorge, North Gateway of Georgia, Truso Gorge and return to Tbilisi.

Day 5: Departure.
