Khevsureti

Khevsureti is a high mountainous region comprising deep gorges. Every village in Khevsureti is an example of timeless art and traditional Georgian architecture.

Day 1: Arrival. Meeting at Tbilisi International Airport. Transfer to hotel.

Day 2: Drive to Magaroskari via Chargali and Datvisjvari Pass (2680 from sea level). Arrive at Shatili –an ancient fortress. Overnight at a family hotel.

Day 3: Drive up to Khakhabo via Mutso ( the ruins of ancient fortress) and walk to Ardoti. Get back to Khakhabo on the same day. Overnight in tents in Andaki gorge.

Day 4: Drive back to Piraketa Khevsureti and ascend to Roshka water gorge up to village Roshka, walk up to the alpine lakes (2500 from sea level) and then down to Roshka. Drive back to Tbilisi.

Day 5: Departure
