Samtavisi - Rkoni

Day 1: Drive from Tbilisi to the westward up to Samtavisi. Visit to the churches and monasteries. Drive on to Rkoni gorge and then up to the gorge. Camping. Visit to the ancient churches of Rkoni. Overnight in tents.

Day 2: Visit to the Tamar Bridge and the ruins of surrounding architectural monuments. Return to Tbilisi (walk back to Rkoni and drive back to Tbilisi).
